The company manufactures items from integral polyurethane foam soft, medium hard as well as hard and, to a lesser extent, what is called cold furniture foam. Such parts are primarily destined for the health care sector, e.g. components for wheelchairs, operating tables, hospital beds, dental chairs and prosthetic limbs. Nevertheless, they may also be utilised as headrests for Jacuzzi bath tubs, technical parts - such as those housing measuring instruments, boards fitted to airport baggage conveyor belts, hand tool holders, interior parts for fixtures in various vehicles and cabs on construction machinery, and similar items. In order to produce such components, two Hennecke high-pressure mixing machines are used, in addition to four low-pressure mixing machines created to our own design.
Most items manufactured are sent abroad, with KAPA operating either as the immediate supplier or as a subcontractor; such nations include: Germany, Austria, France, Slovakia, Canada, Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Hungary.Integral to the service our company provides is participating in the development of new products. We actively participate in their design, construction and the technology used in their manufacture. Naturally, this includes the production of moulds and any resultant serial production.
The vast majority of manufactured parts are developed and designed for specific customers, but KAPA has also created a range of products intended for general sale.
